§ 2-573. Change orders and contract modifications.

(a)

General provisions . Except as hereinafter provided, any change order or other modification of a contract term shall be approved by the Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners.

(b)

County administrator authority . The county administrator or his/her designee shall have authority to approve all change orders to purchase orders and contracts up to an absolute value of $100,000.00.

(c)

Director of financial services authority . The director of financial services and/or his/her designee shall have authority to approve all change orders to purchase orders and contracts up to an absolute value of $50,000.00.

(d)

Purchasing division director authority . The purchasing division director shall have authority to approve all change orders to purchase orders and contracts up to an absolute value of $10,000.00.
