§ 2-572. Approval of contracts.

(a)

General provisions . All contracts shall be reviewed and approved as to form by the law department prior to execution on behalf of the county. A contract shall conform to state and federal law and to county ordinances and shall otherwise contain such provisions as are reasonably necessary to protect the interest of the county.

(b)

County administrator authority . The county administrator or his/her designee shall have the authority to sign contracts up to $100,000.00.

(c)

Director of financial services authority . The director of financial services or his/her designee shall have the authority to sign contracts up to $50,000.00.
