§ 82-23. Short title, authority and applicability.

(a)

This article shall be known and may be cited as the Gwinnett County Litter Control Ordinance.

(b)

The county has the authority to adopt this article pursuant to article IX, section II, paragraph I and article IX, section II, paragraph III of the Constitution of the state and O.C.G.A. title 16, ch. 7, art. 2, pt. 2 (O.C.G.A. § 16-7-42 et seq.), which is known as the Georgia Litter Control Law.
